Director: Thomas Lee
Thomas Lee earned a Bachelors of Music from Washington State University in 1999.
Mr. Lee has taught elementary, middle and high school bands and choirs in the Naselle and Oroville school districts.
He has performed with the Washington Idaho Symphony, the Okanogan Valley Orchestra, the Olympia Chamber Orchestra,
and currently performs with the Olympia Symphony, the Washington State American Legion Band, and the 133d Army Band.
Mr. Lee was the music director of the Okanogan Valley Chorus for the 2000-2001 season, the assistant music director
in the Naselle community’s productions of Fiddler on the Roof and Music Man, and was the enlisted conductor of the
133d Army Band from June 2000 through December 2005. He recently accepted the position of director with the Valley Chorale.
He currently works full time for the Washington Army National Guard.

Music styles include Broadway and musical productions, ballads, jazz, patriotic, Irish, country western and Christmas favorites.

Membership
We are a performing chorus and all music is memorized.
Rehearsals are 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.

History
The Valley Chorale was founded on May 14, 1996 by Doug Skelly and Ellen and George Malesis.
Charter members are Barbara Stone, Jim Mattos, Bob Gudikunst, George Malesis, Ellen Malesis, Doug Skelly, Linda Reed,
Louise Whitehead, Valerie Cassingham, Ray Cassingham, Mary Lou Mills, This chorus grew to 55 members before
Mr. Skelly retired in May, 1999.
